My mom recently received an award for her impressive performance in the Asia Pacific region. The awards night was set in Lijiang, China, the same place for the CoArt arts festival – the biggest music and artist festival in Lijiang. It was my first time to go to Lijiang and first time to see snow! So exciting but in all honesty, I gave up after 4 minutes in the snow. It was too freaking cold! LOL! This week has been terribly tiring but immensely satisfying in terms of work. I’m back on the Princess and I set and we’ve been taping almost every day! The 6th ABS-CBN Star Magic Ball had a black and white theme this year and though the theme is bi-colored, the glitz and glow of the stars filled the Rizal ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la. The Drukpahs are Yang Don’s Royal Council. Our job is to guide and assist the king and the monarchy in ruling and running the kingdom.
