Tabing Ilog (2000)
Although it can be categorized as a youth oriented show, Tabing Ilog tackled with very serious issues that afflicted the youth at that time – early marriages, pregnancies, death, family and friendships.
The show’s cast could be labeled as that generation’s “Brat Pack”, similar to the “Breakfast Club’s” Brat Pack – a group of young actors that were being groomed to be the next big stars of their generation.
Tabing Ilog initially received a lot of flak as it was being called a copy of the US show, “Dawson’s Creek” but it proved to hold its own.
In Tabing Ilog, Ian Galliguez played Sabrina.
